Ivy's House Life
Montessori Parent-Child Activities
One session per week helps children develop good habits! Children can choose activities based on their interests: a fishing activity to practice hand-eye coordination, a large board to explore the world map, and a dough-rolling activity for making cakes. Since Montessori emphasizes children’s independence and self-care skills, parents are encouraged to assist while allowing their children to complete tasks on their own.
In addition, there will be storytime, singing time, and snack time. The group activity format helps children get used to interacting with peers earlier, while also providing parents with a chance to share and discuss parenting challenges.
